Congratulations to the City of Murphysboro Police Department for the successful negotiation of their first contact since their return to the FOP Labor Council.  The unit exhibited a great amount of patience and persistence and were rewarded by a wage increase each year for four years of their contract, the establishment of a Physical Fitness program, and a determination of the unit’s definition of their work day all while maintaining the other terms of their collective bargaining agreement.  The unit was well- represented by Cory Etherton, Jacob Weber, Steve Zang, Mark Tincher, and Brandon Young and were assisted by Attorney Amy Rose.
