By Doug Crawford, Field Representative - Thursday, December 27, 2012

Rushville Police settled their Agreement with little controversy.  Minor changes were made with most of the language remaining status quo.  Wages increased by 3.5% each year of a three year deal.  Improvements were attained in the number of vacation days after 20 years and fixed pay for holidays. Insurance will continue at the current 75% / 25% Family and Single split in place now for several terms.  Veterans Rocky Root and Scott Boyd along with new officer Chris Edwards met with City representatives, resolving talks in two meetings.  Field Representative Doug Crawford assisted.
