The Posen Officers and Sergeants successfully locked in a four-year wage Agreement which effectively exceeded the rate of inflation.  The Team was also able to negotiate an increase in compensation time bank from sixty-four (64) hours to one-hundred and twenty (120) hours.  The uniform allowance was increased from $600 to $800 fully retroactive.  The Team also tackled the sticky subject of benefit time in accordance with their twelve (12) hour schedule and with persistence and creativity replaced the eight (8) hour personal days with a twenty-four (24) annual "Earned Time" benefit.  Earned time can be used in any incrment and helps to fill in the gap for a member's use of any personal time off.  Bargaining Team Members Matt Hinsdale, John Smith and Vince Luna were assisted by Labor Council Attorneys Kimkea' Harris and Gary Bailey.
