The Morgan County team made up of Chairman Al McClellan, Thomas Jackson and Leo Peterson did an excellent job on behalf of their membersip in gaining many langugage changes that improved their contract.  In exchange for minor concessions in health insurance, the membership will achieve 6% increase to their wage matrix over the three years of the deal.  The eight hour employees received a $400 market adjustment prior to the increase and the correction officers were placed on a trial 12-hour schedule receiving straight time for the additional four hours worked each pay period increasing their annual pay by 5.5% prior to the COLA adjustment.
