24 Hour Critical Incident Hotline: 877-IFOP-911

By Dave Nixon, Field Representative - Wednesday, March 9, 2016

A one meeting negotiation ended in a three-year agreement with the City of Paxton and its police officers.  The agreement calls for wage increases in each of the three years. Sergeants pay, juvenile officer pay and investigator pay were each increased as part of the deal.  Holiday compensation language was amended to be more beneficial to the officers.  Equipment allowance was increased; and the City agreed to buy cell phones for the officers so that the officers would not have to use their personal phones for work.  The local unit was represented by Chad Johnson and Thomas Sink.  Field Representative David Nixon assisted the local team.
