The Fayette County bargaining unit members negotiated their most recent agreement with a new Sheriff and County Board representatives.  Negotiations went fairly smooth and settled after a few meetings.  For the most part, the Agreement was unchanged, except for a change to alcohol testing.  Employee insurance deductible was increased, however employee insurance remained at 100% paid. Wages increased 2.5% annually over the term of the Agreement.  The bargaining team was Klayten Brasel, Matt McConkey, Larry Hallema, Teresa Durbin and Gay Claycomb, assisted by Labor Council Field Representative Doug Crawford.
