The negotiations covering the Bloomingdale bargaining unit consisting of police aides, police department record assistants and community service officers were very successful with the new Village Manager. The parties held open discussions which lead to a successor Labor Agreement in two sessions. We are looking into a Health Savings Plan (HSA) with the Village to offer the members. An HSA can be a savings and benefit for the future. I want to thank the negotiating team: Julie Jaster, Wendy Reiter and Chris Whitsell for their commitment and dedication to the process.
