Highland Sergeants settled their initial 3-year contract and firmed up existing conditions under a formal document. They established a wage of $40.07 for all currently-commissioned Sergeants and bargained increases of 1.2%, 1.4% and 1% on wages for each of 3 years. There is also an increase in educational bonus pay. Tuition reimbursement (based on a 50/50 funding level) is now $2500 per member per fiscal year with a maximum of $10,000 over a 10-year period.  The parties also agreed to a sick leave buyback plan. There is a uniform cleaning allowance of $450, annual uniform allowance of $500, and one-time bump of $300 for a mid-year assignment change. They added language to the Healthcare Insurance Policy Committee, 2 personal days, and clarification to the Personnel Policy Manual.  In addition, Sergeants will be eligible for Holiday overtime.
