Congratulations and a well deserved bow go to the Bargaining Team consisting of William Merrill Jr., David Gesiorski, Cruz Ortiz, Jr., and Sean Poindexter.  Taking into account the state of the economy as it relates to the Village and its citizens, and the administration's responsibility to them, the Team has negotiated a three-year Agreement consisting of fair and equitable annual wage increases, expansion of residency, additional buy-back of compensatory time, deletion of the retirement incentive in conjunction with an increase in longevity for the patrol unit and a slight increase in the maximum out-of-pocket insurance expense, while maintaining the current insurance premium caps.  The bargaining relationship throughout the process was amiable and with some give-and-take by both parties, along with a couple of stumbling blocks along the way, a fair and equitable Agreement was achieved.  All parties are to be commended for their professionalism and dedication shown during the process.
