Macon County Probation Officers and support staff have reached a three year contract expiring in 2017.   The Agreement calls for wage increases of 9.5% over three years. The employer agreed to furnish cell phones for the officers while on duty. The parties agreed to alternative methods of receiving accumulaed sick pay at the time of their retirement.  Employees hired after January 1, 2015 will no longer be eligible for sick leave payment, beyond that of IMRF eligibility, at the time of their retirement.  The local committee consisted of Yvonne Glover (Chair), Lundee Corman, Kimberly Lawson, Teena Berter, Holly Layton, Clint Walters and Lillian Mantay.  The team was assisted by Field Representative David Nixon.
