This is a unique unit in the fact that all the negotiations for this successor Labor Agreement were the members sitting down with the Mayor and City Council to work out an amiable agreement.  The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council is very fortunate to have John Myers who heads this group that has established a working relationship with the City in order to have bargaining work, as it is intended; open discussions and respect for each other's positions.  Again, many thanks for Sergeant Myers commitment and dedication to the process and the City representatives for making the process a commitment of both sides in reaching a positive result.
