Congratulations to the Vermilion County Corrections/Civilians Unit on the settlement of their most recent contract!  The contract is for three (3) years and involved increases in the longevity steps and 7.25% wage increase over the term of the contract.  The unit did have to concede two holidays for civilian employees, but received an increase in compensatory time allowance.  Negotiations were held in Danville, IL and were conducted by members, Michael Schull, James Bianchetta, Judy Lee, Kristopher Martinez and Craig Riggen. The team was asssisted by Labor Council Attorney William Jarvis and Field Representative Dan Bailey.
