The bargaining team did an excellent job on behalf of their unit by affecting a quick resolution to their negotiations bringing only a few issues of concern to the table.  Previously, in order to achieve a step increase the employees had to receive a "meets expectation" on their evaluations which was not grievable,  however language was modified to make the change in evaluation to achieve the step increases, the team manged to add five $665 steps to their wage matrix.  The team brought back an Agreement that increased pay by 6.5% over the three year deal and the new steps raised top pay in the third year of the Agreement to $70,698.00.  The team was assisted by Jerry Lieb during the negotiations.
