The Marion County Sheriff's Department and the Labor Council recently executed their collective bargaining agreement.  While agreement was reached in matters of health insurance, equity adjustment for communications officers and increases in Sergeant and Lieutenant pay differentional, Interest Arbitration was necessary to protect previously bargained for vacation benefits and to secure annual wage increases of 2.85%.  Bargaining team members Dale Eddings, Anthony Decker and Rick Chambers were assisted by IL FOP Labor Council Attorney John Weathers.
