By Mark Russillo, Field Representative - Wednesday, August 13, 2014

Hillsboro Police Officers recently settled a 4-year contract, with wage increases of $0.30, $0.30, $0.45 and $0.45, respectively for each of the four years.  The parties agreed to a guarantee of no layoffs for the period ending April 30, 2015.  There were also some clarifications to existing contract language.  Field Representative Mark Russillo was assisted by Bargaining Committee Members John Stretch and Randy Leetham in a long and sometimes difficult bargaining process and they should be highly commended for their perseverance.
