After enduring a contentious Interest Arbitration last year, the Officers and Sergeants from the City of Countryside were hoping for a swift and satisfying resolution to current negotiations.  They obtained both.  In just a few meetings that can only be described as amicable, the bargaining teams reached a quick conclusion.  Both Officers and Sergeants received an increase in the amount of court time they receive. Both units also received a reasonable wage increase over the three year term of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.  The Bargaining Teams of Sergeants John Andree and John Mikel, as well as Officers Karl Rodey, Jim Stern and Joe DiGangi were assisted in negotiations by Gary Bailey and Dan Mahoney of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council.
