24 Hour Critical Incident Hotline: 877-IFOP-911

By Michael Sheley, Field Representative - Monday, March 31, 2014

The Bargaining Committee reached a three year Agreement with the Macomb/McDonough 911 Board.  The Agreement includes an across the board raise of 2.5% each year.  Additionally, after 96 hours of overtime worked by part-time employees, the remaining hours of overtime must first be offered to the full-time employees.  Leave time including vacation was converted to hours instead of days as in the past.  Several language changes were made for clarification purposes, for both sides.  A schedule change was implemented in hopes of cutting back on overtime for the department.   The negotiating team members were Macomb/McDonough 911 Dispatchers Stephen Butterfield and Jeremy Moore who were assisted by Labor Council Field Representatives Mike Sheley and Shwn Roselieb.
