The First Circuit-Williamson County Probation Officers and Secretaries resolved their newest Contract in record time, negotiating an automatic 2% wage increase per year for the next three years, in addition to an extra 1% in potiential merit pay per year.  They also succeeded in getting the Employer to increase its initial monthly health insurance premium contribution from $600 to $700, thus reducing the employee's insurance payments.  On top of that, the bargaining team achieved a permanent 3% equity increase for all secretaries in the unit.  Finally, the uit increased the availability of its cash-out sick-leave benefit, increased the flexibility of its benefit time usage, clarified its strike language and its performance evaluation process, and gained the concession that secondary employment applications would not be unreasonably denied.  All in all, the team should be very proud of a highly productive, efficient, and professional negotiation on behalf of its members!
