The bargaining unit from Charleston whose contract doesn't expire until April 2014, entered into early negotiations to deal with health insurance cost issues.  The Employer who was scheduled to add 3% to their employee health insurance contributions on January 1, 2014, agreed to add 20% on that date and agreed to up their contribution to 5% in each of the next three years.  In addition to the increase in health insurance contributions, the Employer agreed to an annual 3% across the board wage increase in each of the three years of the successor Agreement.
