The Manteno Patrol Officers have agreed to a 4 year Successor Agreement which will yield an average of 2.75% a year, in the 1st 13 steps.  Officers at the top end will average 3.0% each year.  Insurance premiums on single coverage went from zero to 25%, but Employee plus spouse and Employee plus family all decreased about 3.0% and 2.0% respectively.  Also negotiated was a new shift differential of .55 and .75 cents per hour, another week of vacation, an extra holiday, an extra sick day, an annual $500 physical fitness stipend, a rotating shift that allows them to have some weekends off, and discipline has been taken out of the hands of the Police Commissioner and can now be grieved and arbitrated.  Bargaining Team was assisted in negotiations by Labor Council Field Representative Pete Balderas.
