A tip of the hat to the Bargaining team consisting of Ed Leinweber (recently promoted to Sergeant-Congratulations!), Aaron Shirley and Rick Talerico.  The team has negotiated a three year Agreement consisting of fair and equitable wage increases, a moderate increase in insurance premiums the third year of the Agreement, all discipline is now grievable through the grievance, arbitration procedure provided for in the Agreement, in addition to the recognition of "civil unions" within the sick and bereavement leave usuage articles, and an increase in the "line of duty death" disbursement, from $3,000 to $7,000.  All parties are to be commended for their hard work and dedication in attaining this new Agreement.
