Mark Credi, Brad Jones and Matt Peters of the City of Peru Police Department recently negotiated a new Collective Bargaining Agreement for their members.  It is a five-year agreement with a 2% wage increase each year.  The members will also receive increased wages for being certified as specialists in defined areas of expertise.  In addition, there is an increase in the amount of Compensatory Time and Vacation they can accumulate.  Further, there is no longer a Residency Requirement, the amount of hours for on call pay was increased and officers who utilize a vehicle as part of their assignemnt are allowed to take those vehicles home.  They were assisted by Attorneys Aaron Janik and Dan Mahoney of the IL FOP Labor Council.
