After a few months of bargaining, North Chicago Patrol Officers and the Labor Council agreed on a 4-year successor Collective Bargaining Agreement with the City.  Wages shall increase 8% over the term including both COLA increases and equity adjustments.  Officers now reach top pay in 9 years rather than 16. Officers may now qualify for extra compensation for being bilingual. A detailed Training Program in now included in the contract as well as an increased Tuition Reimbursement Program. Residency boundaries were increased significantly.
