The negotitions for a successor Labor Agreement usually are completed in a very short period of time.  This time around, although the parties thought they had agreement after only four (4) negotiation sessions, per the final drafting by the Employer of the  successor Labor Agreement, the parties were in fact not in agreement.  The Union filed for mediation which did in fact conclude the negotiations as earlier stated per the members understanding.  I want to thnak the negotiating committee for their continued commitment and patience to this process; David Berman, Ryan Glew and Dennis Prieto.
