The negotiating team from Colona Police Department has reached an Agreement with the City of Colona.  Officers will receive a 9% increase in wages over a three year term.  In addition, new pay steps were added at 8, 12 and 16 years of service.  Sergeants pay will increase by $0.25 and each step  above 8 years for longevity will be $0.25 higher.  Two days of computer training will be afforded officers. Additional language modifications were made to sick time buy back, shift bidding, vacation and personal days and protective vest was added to the uniform list.  Negotiation team members Sergeants Anthony Armstrong and Michael Swemline and Officer Clinton Powless were assisted by Labor Council Field Representatives Shawn Roselieb and Michael K.
