The Village of Coal Valley and their Sergeants and Police Officers reached a settlement on a new Agreement for duration of five years. It was  agreed that the Officers of Coal Valley would receive a 2% increase each year of the Agreement.  Changes in vacation scheduling language that was desired by both sides was achieved and resulted in two more paid holidays. It was also agreed that the Officers would receive time and one half money for working on holidays.  Labor Council Field Representative Michael K. Sheley assisted the Negotiation Team members Officers Time Krebs and Clint Whitney.
