The bargaining team negotiated a three year Agreement that included numerous clerical changes throughout the contract.  Changes were negotiated to the bereavement leave article allowing five day for immediate family (spouse, child, step-child and foster children of the officer) and maintaining three days for extended family.

The bonus for completing a voluntary physical agility test was increased to $300 and wages increased 7.5% over the three year deal.  This raises top pay for a patrolman to $58,483 in the last year of the Agreement.

The bargaining team of Chairman Nick Bridges, Dave Adcock  and Doug Hahn did a good job on behalf of their membership and were assisted by Jerry Lieb of the IL FOP Labor Council.
