Mason County Sheriff's Office bargaining members reached a three year deal in one meeting, coming away with a 7.5% increase in wages over the term. Neither side felt the need to make any significant changes, and only very modest proposals were brought to the table. The County moved quickly to make their best offer, which was also quickly agreed to by the bargaining team.  Changes included:  Non-Discrimination exempt from grievances; insurance remains same cost, status quo on plan; and modest increases were added to several longevity steps to close the gaps.  Corrections maintain a $300 annual stipend.  The bargaining committee was Fred Ray, Tony Lippert, Amanda Onken and Brandon Painter, assisted by Doug Crawford, Field Representative.
