By Mark Russillo, Field Representitive - Tuesday, May 28, 2013

Columbia Police Officers and Sergeants recently settled a three year contract, with 7.25% increase in wages over the term of the Agreement. The parties agreed to Choice of Venue language on Discipline including suspensions of more than five days.  They deleted language relating to "summary punishment" and modified disciplinary record retention language in the exchange. They also agreed to expansion of residency beyond city limits to the boundaries of the school district after five years of service and modified health care contributions.  Field Representative Mark Russillo was assisted by Bargaining Committee Members Officer Zach Hopkins and Sergeant Josh Bayer.
